B. Annye Rothenberg, Ph.D., author, has been a
child/parent psychologist and a specialist in child rearing and
development of young children for more than 20 years. Her
parenting psychology practice is in Emerald Hills, California.
She is also an adjunct clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at
Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Rothenberg was the
founder/director of the Child Rearing parenting program in Palo
Alto, California, and is the author of the award-winning book Parentmaking and other parenting education books for parenting guidance professionals. She is the mother of one son.
Marion Eldridge, illustrator, has been a professional
artist for 20 years, developing a unique, warm, and whimsical
style. She has illustrated numerous children’s books for a variety
of publishers and has also created illustrations for children’s
magazines, greeting card companies, and UNICEF. She teaches
at the New Hampshire Institute of Art. Marion lives with her
husband in Billerica, Massachusetts, and is the mother of one
